IAFA membership is not required to present at our Trans/Inter/Cross Conference, but all attendees must register. IAFA membership is required to present at the ICFA.
The International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts (ICFA) is an annual scholarly conference devoted to all aspects of the fantastic (broadly defined) as it appears in literature, film, and the other arts. For many years, the ICFA has been held annually in Orlando, Florida, USA.

2024 13-16 March
Most attendees present but that is not required to attend the ICFA, nor is membership in the IAFA. However, IAFA membership is required to present at the ICFA
In addition to scholarly presentations, ICFA also includes a Creative Track that features sessions on speculative writing, art, music, and poetry, as well as panel discussions on topics of interest for creative professionals. Questions about the creative track should be directed to the Second Vice President, who can be contacted here.
